Surrey Christmas Bureau #3

Surrey Dodgeball would like to extend an enormous thank you to everyone who participated in our Christmas Tournament this year! Together we raised $9,151.54 for the Surrey Christmas Bureau! We would specifically love to acknowledge our MVD (Most Valuable Donator) Joel Raun who contributed over $1,500 worth of toys and goods, and who also helped us shop for and deliver the gifts. Another shout out to our own volunteer Ryan Demelo who, through the help of contacts, raised $4,200. Your volunteers took all the funds raised and used the money to purchase gifts specifically for teens, which is what the SCB needed most this season. We purchased gifts such as 4 bikes, sporting goods, books, art supplies, head phones, speakers, gift cards, beauty supplies, backpacks, and more! We purchased so many items that we reached the maximum items that the till could scan. We had so much to spend that we had to keep going back to the aisles to reach our spending limit. Every year we strive to give back to our community and we were blown away by the generosity of our league. To everyone who participated in helping us to make this donation please know that we are humbled to have such an amazing group of people as a part of our league. We have made a difference in our community, and such a difference would not have been possible without you.
