SDL Community Teams

One of SDL’s core values is to create a foundation within the league that encourages and most importantly preserves a tight-knit community amongst our players (and volunteers). Since SDL began in 2013, people from all walks of life have come together with one common interest: dodgeball! Several friendships have blossomed, and weekly league-night hangouts have become frequent get-togethers outside of dodgeball.

As of this past spring 2015 season, SDL is proud to be the supporter of three teams across three different sport leagues! Made up solely of SDL players, these dodgeball enthusiasts have come together to form a co-ed slo-pitch team with Softball City; a co-ed ultimate team with the Surrey Ultimate League; and a co-ed flag football team with the White Rock Flag Football Club. This is a good reflection of our unique culture within the league and of SDL’s commitment to building relationships within our local community!
